March 13, 2007 was the beginning of a magnificient journey for my family with the arrival of my grandson, Bryan James. Bryan was given an incorrect diagnosis of lethal skeletal dysplasia in eutero. We now know Bryan has Achondroplasia, the most common type of dwarfism. This blog chronicles his life and the world he has opened my eyes to that I never knew existed. He is our miracle, I can't imagine my life without him.
LEAVE SOME LOVE
Please sign Bryan's guestbook at the bottom of this page THANKS!

Candi! I'm sure you quit your job for the right reasons and I know everything will work out the way it is supposed to. Caden, Finally! just in the last 3 weeks has started to bear weight on his legs. Just like with a snap of the finger - and he is on a mission with climbing also. He isn't anywhere near standing on his own or taking steps, but he is putting weight on his legs. For so long I felt he was stuck! I know Bryan had his adenoids out ... what about the tonsils? How are his sleep studies? I think the tonsils really helped Caden with his sleep which consequently is helping him with his development. Keep me posted as to what the neurologist has to say! ... and as always - adorable pictures! Trisha
I have been waiting on some new pictures of Bryan! He just gets cuter and cuter! Hopefully all works out with your job, or lack thereof - more time for Bryan!!!
Candi, Best of luck to you! I hope this affords you more time with Bryan. Seriously-why is he so cute? I love that he pulls of the spiky hairstyle with ease. What a heartbreaker!

He remains SERIOUSLY cute!! But he's getting to be such a big boy. He is definitely not a baby anymore! Hmmm....anxious to hear about the job thing.
